Course Overview:
This 5-day training course is designed to enable operators, supervisors, and engineering personnel to safely operate a GE designed steam-turbine generator unit. Participants will develop a background in steam turbine-generator operation, which will enable participants to properly analyse operating problems and take the necessary corrective action.
The course will detail the turbine and generator equipment as well as their support systems and include in-depth instruction on the start-up and loading activities, and the operational duties of the operator.
Included in the course is an in-depth instruction on alarm troubleshooting and the use of the control interface (HMI)
